COLIC MACHINE & TOOL Ltd was incorporated in 1968 by the Province of Ontario. The Company was serving mainly local Industries' custom and production manufacturing needs. In 1970, manufacture and design of Hydraulic Cylinders established itself as one of our main production lines, and soon it reached the level of 40% of our sales. The Cylinders range from 1" to 24" bore size and up to 500t capacity. This further developed in to the field of Hydraulic Presses. Material Handling and Processing Equipment and it's components was another high volume item that caused the Plant expansion in 1981 by adding the new fabricating/welding facility with 60' span and 7t capacity overhead crane, enabling us to handle vessels up to 15ft in diameter and 30ft long in one single piece. Our Quality Manuals comply with CSA Z299.3. We have in place structural welding procedures and data sheets, as well as the Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) for pressure vessels (Section IX). We are also in the process of obtaining ISO 9002 registration.
